Marat Markov, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, welcomed the winners and participants of the First Youth Delphic Games of the SCO Member States
The event took place on June 11 at the Minsk State Art College named after A. K. Glebov.
— It does not matter whether you win medals or simply participate in competitions of this level. The most important thing is that the impression of your country is formed precisely through its representatives, — the head of the agency emphasized.
The Minister of Culture expressed gratitude to the teachers who trained the participants and were present at the Games:
— These are the people who nurture talents (any diamond requires cutting!). And when the professionalism of the teacher who does this “cutting” is high, a work of art is produced.
Marat Sergeevich also addressed kind words to the jury members: evaluating participants in such a significant competition is already a high honor and an indicator of the country’s authority.
The Minister of Culture wished everyone success, perseverance, strength and energy in achieving their goals, and fruitful activity for the benefit of the Republic of Belarus.
At the inaugural Delphic Games, Belarusians won nine medals. Gold, silver and bronze – equally. Top awards were in pop singing, artistic crafts and the “Piano” nomination.
